Mobile phone manufacturers regularly produce models that are designed specifically for developing countries. This device differs only a basic set of functions and the corresponding price. But perhaps the company's worldwide who seek to please everyone, can produce something that focused on a single market. Therefore, many countries have their own phone manufacturers, who know what to buyers.

In his new concept Onida designer named Philippe Dagiyon (Philippe Daguillon) recalls that 80% of India's population live in just two dollars a day. Therefore, the mobile phone Onida has a price tag of five dollars. This is a very simple device: a small display, which displays only the current time, battery level, operator name and signal strength, as well as a minimal set of buttons.

Onida phone comes with a pouch of textile fabric. Case has many pockets and compartments, according to the authors, it can be used as a purse. At the same time on the outside cover has a pocket for phone and symbols, repeating the names of the keys. I would like to see how the reality could be the phone for five dollars. At least, he would not so beautiful.
