Sharp announces NFC-tablet

The Japanese company Sharp introduced the tablet RW-T110, designed primarily for representatives of business, says the website AkihabaraNews.

The basis is the new OMAP chip from Texas Instruments 4430 processor with a clock frequency of 1 GHz. In addition, the device boasts 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1, port MicroUSB, MicroHDMI, magnetometer, gyroscope, G-sensor, 3.5 mm audio jack and a slot for memory cards format microSD. Of particular note is the presence of the chip NFC, providing contactless mobile payments.

Sharp is going to start selling its devaysa March 27, 2012. Initially, the novelty will be available in Japan. Later it will be released in other countries.
